From a pool of nearly 1,200 entrants, Grassroot Soccer has been selected as one of the top 25 projects in the 2008 American Express Members’ Project. The top projects were selected on the basis of innovation and impact.

Second round voting will last until September 29th, at which point, the top 5 projects will be announced and the final round of voting will begin. The winning project will receive $1.5 million, while runners-up will receive between $100,000 and $500,000.
