Ethan Zohn, a former pro soccer player who used his 2001 Survivor:Africa winnings to fight AIDS with GRS, is in the middle of a three-month, 550-mile stunt. He’s dribbling a soccer ball from Boston down to Washington DC.
He crossed over the Brooklyn Bridge on Wednesday and held events throughout the week in New York, including a celebrity soccer match, a fundraising gala and a youth soccer clinic in Harlem. Zohn finishes in DC on Dec. 1, World AIDS Day.
