On Saturday, Oct. 13th Grassroot Soccer Zimbabwe hosted a Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) tournament, combining a competitive and fun day of soccer with HIV testing and access to family planning services. The tournament was held at Lobengula Rugby Ground at New Lobengula in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Approximately 280 people received voluntary HIV counseling and testing during the event.

A number of former players and coaches came out for the day, including Madinda Ndlovu (former Highlanders coach and player), Ronald Sibanda (former Zimbabwe National Team, AmaZulu, Zimbabwe Saints and Dynamos player), Dazzy Kampenya (former Highlanders and Sporting Lions player), Cosmas Zulu (coach for Zimbabwe Saints, Highlanders and AmaZulu), Thabani Masawi (former Highlanders player), and Chipo Tsodzo (coach Quelaton, former Highlanders, Zimbabwe Saints, Mwana Africa, Quelaton and Hwange player).

Chicken Inn won the tournament 3-1 on penalties against FMH Academy. Below are some pictures from the day.
