Chikwanka Mubanga

Based in Lusaka, Zambia, Chikwanka Mubanga is a Research Coordinator at Grassroot Soccer Inc, where she is responsible for supporting research activities across GRS geographies. She has served in this role since 2022 and her main responsibilities involve evaluating GRS programs and providing thought leadership. She is versed in qualitative data analysis, stakeholder engagement and report writing. Prior to this role, Chikwanka worked on the first ever PEPFAR funded Community-led Monitoring project at GRS Zambia and consulted for IPAS Zambia as a Research Assistant.

Chikwanka is passionate about health equity and her goal is to see the underserved populations have equal opportunities to health care. She has contributed to research projects focusing on adolescent health, SRHR, HIV/AIDs and mental health. Chikwanka holds a Master’s degree in Public Health with specialization in Health Policy & Management from the University of Zambia and she is a Global Health Corps ALA 2024 fellow.
