Fiona Ferguson

Fiona Ferguson was born and raised in South Africa. She pursued a BA in drama at Cape Town University before moving to Edinburgh, UK, in 1994. There, she gained experience in interior design and property development. In 1998, Fiona moved to London and worked as an in-house copywriter and creative for Elemis, a holistic beauty and body care brand.
In 2000, Fiona decided to become a full-time mother to her four boys. She now dedicates her time to philanthropy, wellness projects, and documentary and movie making. Her personal health journey has sparked a deep interest in alternative healthcare and somatic bodywork.
Fiona is passionate about mental health, gender equality, women’s and children’s rights, gender-based violence, food insecurity, and health and education reform. She is a founding funder of @wearegrow_, an agroecological farm and outdoor learning hub in North London, and invests in wildlife conservation @kariega and farming reform @wildfarmed_.
Fiona is also a founding funder and trustee of www.flo-ww.org a period poverty non-profit organization, and @littlleionskenya, a school in the Kibera slums in Kenya. Ibiza is her happy place, where she is a founding owner of @unio_ibiza, a retreat space/community-based hotel. Fiona loves fashion and is a brand ambassador for @peoplesofalnations, a luxury sustainable fashion brand.
