Diana Taonga Kenendy-Tembo

Diana Taonga Kennedy-Tembo is the Product Development Coordinator on the Grassroot Soccer Global team. In her role, Taonga is responsible for co-developing different products for GRS across different implementing sites and partnerships.

Prior to joining the GRS Global team, Taonga was with GRS Zambia, where she served as Program Coordinator on the NIH SKILLZ Girl Project and a Trainer for GRS Partnerships and Zambia. A former SKILLZ Coach, Taonga has expertise in training, SKILLZ Plus implementation for youth living with HIV, mental health, and family planning. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration with a minor in Political Science, as well as a certificate in Psychosocial Counseling. A fun fact about Taonga is that she loves to sleep and has the ability to fall asleep anywhere as long as she’s tired enough. All she needs is a spot to lay her head!
