Derek Daniels

Derek started working for Grassroot Soccer South Africa as a Master Coach in 2009 and joined the Global team as Training Manager in 2021. He is responsible for the training and development functions of GRS Coaches and Coach leadership teams. Prior to joining the organization, he spent many years in the people-development field, ranging from working with pre-schoolers, youth, and adults at various points. He has committed most of his life to the nonprofit and community development sector. Derek holds a Post Graduate Advanced Diploma for Educators of Adults from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. His most valued achievement is his two children and three grandchildren. He is based in South Africa.
