Alexander Nkosi

Alex is an economist and monitoring and evaluation expert with vast experience in designing and managing monitoring and evaluation systems for country and multi-country programs. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Economics and has worked in the monitoring and evaluation field at a senior level for over 16 years in various international organizations. His previous job was Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for We Effect Southern African Region, where he worked with more than 30 civil society organizations in Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. He has also previously worked as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for USAID national-level projects under Education Development Centre and Chemonics. He has worked on a range of projects that include: health, education, agriculture, disaster management, financial services, housing, environment, climate change, economic empowerment, and rural development.
