Carol M. Manyele

Carol M. Manyele is a Zambian demographer advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and mental health care for adolescents and young people. She serves as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Grassroot Soccer, providing technical MEL support to strengthen program quality and generate evidence for adolescent SRHR and mental health initiatives. A 2020 Scottish Government and Edinburgh Business School Gender Equality Initiative scholar, Carol is passionate about youth and community leadership as drivers of health equity. With over five years’ experience in rural youth development, she has contributed to projects funded by UNICEF, Roger Federer Foundation, and the European Union. A devoted soccer fan, she proudly supports the Zambia National Women’s Soccer Team and values sports that are promoted through the National Women’s Soccer League as a powerful tool for youth development.
