Just like a winning soccer team needs a starting lineup, coaches, backroom staff, and support systems to achieve their goals, Grassroot Soccer is making an impact through the efforts of individuals around the globe united around a common goal.
We work with a robust network of partners to serve adolescents in the highest-need areas of the world. For the past 20+ years, this has meant our work has been centered in sub-Saharan Africa, where adolescents have a 4x greater chance of dying from preventable causes than those in higher income countries. As adolescents' struggles with mental health have exploded into a full-on global health crisis, the demand for our mental health programming has also exploded, and we are expanding our programs to tackle this problem across the globe.
