Sojourn Explorers is excited to announce it’s fundraising partnership with Grassroot Soccer (GRS), an international organization that believes in using the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilize young people to overcome their greatest health challenges and live healthier lives.
Coming this October, Sojourn will be doing their first expedition in support of Grassroot Soccer. The plan is to summit Kilimanjaro — the world’s highest freestanding mountain — in Tanzania, Africa during the Full Moon. Expedition dates are October 19th – 29th, 2015. The trip’s very special expedition guest is Lesordo, a Maasai Warrior.
Ten percent of the cost of each trip will go directly to Grassroot Soccer via our fundraising partners at Crowdrise. All monies raised are tax-deductible.
