Mbulelo Malotana

Mbulelo is responsible for strategy, programmes, operations and business development for GRS South Africa and is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He joined Grassroot Soccer in 2015 as a Provincial Programmes Manager and took on larger multiple responsibilities in the organization before holding his current position as the GRS SA Managing Director. Prior to joining GRS, Mbulelo served as an Assistant Director where he advised on Departmental Strategy in the Western Cape Government in South Africa. He has over 14 years of experience and expertise in strategic management, programme design and management, monitoring & evaluation, and has also worked with Sport for Development programmes in research and policy development. Mbulelo holds a BA (Escuela Internacional de Educación Física y Deporte – Havana, Cuba), is currently undertaking an MBA at Business School Netherlands, and is passionate about community and youth development.
