Website Redesign: Request for Proposals

GRS is an international adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire and mobilize at-risk youth to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities.

GRS is soliciting proposals for a website redesign as described in this request for proposals and all annexes, collectively referred to as the RFP.

The Grassroot Soccer (GRS) website,, is a key element in the organization’s marketing and communications efforts and is an important vehicle for delivering information to key stakeholders. It is a vital lead generation, fundraising, storytelling, and recruitment platform for the organization, through which we seek to clearly articulate who we are, what we do, and ways to get involved in our work.

GRS’s objective is to partner with a web design agency to lead us through a comprehensive redesign of our website. We are seeking to launch a new website in alignment with the launch of an updated brand by July 2024. In a new website, we are seeking to streamline our content, improve site architecture and navigability, align the look and feel of the website with contemporary web design trends and GRS’s new brand elements, and improve backend functionality to make it easier to make regular content updates and troubleshoot in house.

The web design agency should work closely with GRS’s Global Communications team to guide us through the process of strategically orienting our website to our goals, and lead on all technical web development responsibilities. GRS is seeking a web design agency with significant experience in leading successful website redesigns, deep knowledge and understanding of web design trends and best practices, and technical web development expertise. GRS is also ideally seeking an agency with the capacity to provide maintenance and technical support for the website as needed beyond the completion of the redesign, via a retainer agreement.
