Technical Curriculum Writers: Request for Proposals

GRS is an international adolescent health organization that leverages the power of soccer to educate, inspire and mobilize at-risk youth to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities.

GRS develops sport-based adolescent health curricula in collaboration with partner organizations, health care providers, schools, and other stakeholders on topics such as HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health and rights, mental health, gender, climate, malaria, and financial education. GRS engages world-class curriculum writing consultants to support the development of innovative and professional curriculum products including Coach’s guides, magazines, training materials, and phone-based tools.

GRS is soliciting proposals for technical curriculum writing consultants to join a pool of GRS preferred consultants.

To Submit

DEADLINE EXTENSION: All proposals must be submitted by email by 17:00 CAT on 11 July 2022 to Andy Dallos adallos@grassrootsoccer.org.

All submitted proposals must include technical information as detailed in Part B: Specifications and cost information as detailed in Part C: Cost Information.

Before submitting, please read the attached RFP outline in its entirety for information on timeline, supplemental materials, and specifications.

Questions of Clarification

Interested consultants should direct any questions about this RFP in writing no later than the date specified on page 1.

All submissions of questions must include the RFP reference number and the interested consultant’s name. Questions directed via any other means, including but not limited to telephone, will not be considered.

Answers to all questions will be posted on this page no later than June 22, 2022.

Specifications & Competencies

  • Consultant has between five (5) and ten (10) years of experience writing adolescent health/life skills curriculum.
  • Consultant has experience writing non-formal content for youth, including sport-based, play-based, and/or drama approaches.
  • Consultant has experience working throughout the African region.
