Grassroot Soccer Board Member Angela Mwanza and her husband Todd Blanke are currently climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro as a fundraiser for Grassroot Soccer. Â Mt. “Kili”, located in Tanzania, is the highest mountain in Africa at 19,341 feet above sea level at the summit. The hike will take several days; Â the altitude, low temperature, and occasional high winds make this a challenging trek.
Both Angela and Todd have been members of the GRS New York City Marathon Team. Angela served as a member of the GRS Ambassadors Council and currently serves on the Board of Directors.  Angela and Todd have dedicated their climb to the 415,000 graduates (and counting) that have received life-changing HIV prevention education from Grassroot Soccer.
